UPS Mobile for iPhone has been updated with Scan to Track, Tracking Number Automatic Population, and new icons.

UPS Mobile is specially designed with features that let you easily manage your shipments on the go. This App lets you track and nickname shipments, create shipping labels, find UPS service locations via GPS, and estimate shipment costs and delivery times. Tracking your packages just got easier.

The app now features two new ways to enter a tracking number: scan-to-track and tracking number auto-detect:

With scan-to-track (available on the iPad 2 and 3GS, 4, and 4S iPhones), use the UPS app's barcode scanner to capture the tracking information from a shipping label or UPS InfoNotice and follow the package's progress. The auto-detect feature will look for any UPS tracking number captured on your clipboard. Just copy the number, open the app and go!

What's New In This Version:
? Scan to Track: Use your smart phone's barcode reader to scan package tracking numbers to obtain updated information
? Tracking Number Automatic Population: the UPS app will automatically search for tracking numbers saved on your smart phone and download them into the UPS app for immediate tracking.
? New icons representing the type of drop off location have replaced the pins on the Locations map for easier identification

You can download UPS Mobile from the App Store for free.
