How accurate is the Zillow Foreclosure Estimate in ... - Zillow Real ...

Hello.? When I searched Zillow using that ZIP, I found 53 'Foreclosure' properties. ?Zillow includes all 'REO/Bank-Owned' homes AND pre-foreclosure short-sales in that list.

I went to the MLS (which is the most up-to-date and accurate information) and searched 85118 for ALL?single-family homes (NO condos/townhomes) that are currently listed as 'Active' (NOT 'Pending' - under contract).

That search returned 121 properties, ranging from $159,000 to $1,899,000.?

Out of those 121 listings, only FOUR are either bank-owned OR short-sales (2 bank-owned and 2 short-sales); none of them are located in Mountainbrook Village.

As you can see, the distressed market in Gold Canyon is virtually gone as homeowner's now have some equity and are beginning to sell.
